What your doctor will consider
Your doctor asks about your triggers, when symptoms happen, what you have already tried, asthma or eczema, and your medicines. They can explain self-care steps, review your current treatment and, where appropriate, advise other options or in-person testing.
Urgent allergy symptoms
Call 112 or 999 straight away for swelling of the face, lips or throat, difficulty breathing or a feeling of faintness after a sting, medicine or food. This could be a severe allergic reaction.
